Mornings are usually busy in our home, so making something quick, easy and filling is very important. I usually double the recipe and keep the left overs in the fridge. So there is always a readily available for breakfast in the fridge that you can just heat and eat.

Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 5 cups of boiling water
- 1 cup Almond milk
- 1 tbsp ground cardamom
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp all spice
- 1 tsp salt
Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan except the Almond milk and bring to the boil
- Bring the heat down and simmer for 5 minutes
- Add the almond milk and let boil for a further 3 minutes
- Enjoy with a drizzle of maple syrup and any fruit of your choice
